As predicted this was a day with snowfall. The whole day it was light and sometimes moderate snowing. The piste are now covered with a new layer of about 10 cm. The temperature was a few degrees below zero and hardly no wind. At several heigths there was fog. Poor visibility! It is a quiet week and with this circumstances there are not so many skiers/boarders.

Three excellent days in a row. Also today was a lovely day. A little bite less cold than the days before. Skiing conditions are generally good, though some pistes are becoming a bit scraped. The snow is better on the higher runs than the lower pistes back into the resorts, where one or two patches of ice lurk to catch the unwary. When pistes become a harder and scrapey there is almost always softer and grippier snow to be found just at the edges.

The same weather and snowconditions as yesterday. Again a great day  with good pistes with sometimes hard snow. Moreover it was very quiet.

A beautifull but cold Sunday. Blue sky with some decorative small clouds, no wind and temperatures around -10 degrees. A few centimeters of fresh snow had a positive effect on the quality of the pistes.

Again a very grey day with clouds and fog. The temperature was -8 degrees and there was no snowfall of any importance. The traffic on the road D117 between Moutiers and Les Menuires was very quiet this afternoon. Most of the russians are their way home and so it will be very quiet during the coming week.

Nearly the whole day we had a mixture of low hanging clouds and fog. Only in the morning you could see the sun as a bright spot in the clouds. Last night gave us an extra layer of  about 5-10 cm fresh snow.
It was less cold as yesterday and there was no wind. The TSD ST Martin 2 had problems during a great part of the day. It stopped for a longer time or it was moving slowly. At 14.00 everybody was sent down for a special bus to Les Menuires and Méribel. The buses did not arrived and the lift was opened again. So with 5-6 sudden stops the lift reached the top and the way home on skis was available again.

In the morning there was a faint sun, so you could see something of the pistes. But during the day the clouds became thicker and came down. The visibility was very poor and the temperature was between -10 and -12 degrees. At the end of the afternoon there was hardly nobody on the pistes except the skiteachers with their pupils. The next three day there will be bad weather was much wind and “some” snowfall.

Finally a day with sunshine during the whole day. Temperatures between -10 and -5 degrees and no wind.
Very good to excellent conditions of the pistes, even down to Méribel Village at 1400 m.
This is the Winer Growers week in Les Menuires. This morning the wine producers offered free mulled wine at the top of the Roc des 3 Marches. And every night you can taste different wines in the Sports Center.

Fog, clouds, snowshowers and again bad visibility, but again more snow on the pistes. Only between 3 and 4 it was little bit more brighter and there were even a few blue patches in the sky. It is not cold and there is less wind.
